Doesn't Autozone do this for free?
Somebody correct me if I'm wrong.

I would like to know as well. That's a great question. I have heard of people getting scans done at their place before but I do not know if they will delete these.

Autozones only have the generic OBDII scanners, they can ready simple codes, but cannot clear any tuner codes. The OP is looking for a BT tool or a GT1.
OP check out the california section of the forum, and there is a shop list there with a couple places that have a scanner available for a small fee.

I called Autozone last week and they no longer scan for cars. The guy on the phone told me at least in California, they are not allowed to anymore if you are not a mechanic shop.

Bringing back an old thread, but I'm posting for reference.

Just got off the phone with Jon @ The M Shop (Los Angeles) 323.257.5773
He said they can do a code read and clear no problem.
