The Forgestars are fantastic looking wheels!

Now that I have dark wheels on silver car I love it. I think dark wheels really work on a light car but it's not for everyone! Dark wheels also tend to look smaller than silver wheels.

Here's some threads with silver 135i with the gun metal. Unfortunately, I haven't managed to find pics silver wheels on a 1 Series (more pics on page 2)

There's also a machined face finish in silver with black inside the face if you like that. One thing to remember is that the Gun Metal is darker than in the Forgestar studio shots as seen here

http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showp...8&postcount=99

Take your time, either choice it will look great in my opinion!

PS Dark wheels also don't show up dust so much so they look almost the same when covered in brake dust unlike silver wheels

I think if you are patient, the VMR v710 will be available in more suitable offsets but can you wait........?

This may also interest you

I have a picture on my home PC with a silver E87 with all the performance bits inc. stripes but it didn't quite look right in my opinion. I'll see if I can post it up later.

I think the E82 is a better looking car and I've seen white and black car with the stripe and it looks good.

Gun Metal VMR v710's on silver 135i albeit with currently available offsets which are rather aggressive! I do prefer these to the Forgestars (just).

Lets hope they make them in more 1 Series friendly offset

Yeah do I..... That's why I stated the possible Group Buy thread here -

http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=282752

Get your name down if you're interested.

Another wheel I really like is the Advan RS/RZ wheels but again not available in 1 series offsets as yet.

There is a group buy for possibility of some replicas here in 1 Series offsets where I was in before I got my Schnitzers

http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=282015

Here are some pics of these in 18" size but they had to do some mods to get them to fit!

Do you mean the BMW Performance front bumper? If yes, then BMW dealer.

Costs around £345 retail but you have to factor in painting and fitting.

By the way Advan are making the RZ wheel for 1 series offset to be available for end of this month. I did make some enquiries and they will cost in the region of £2000 for a set (no tyres) and they are made to order (3 month wait)

I think thats the 3D design one where MStyle are the UK distributor if I recall.

Not cheap though as I think it's around £800 for the E87 one so I think the E82 might be similar. Might be an idea to give MStyle a ring for a price.

Yeah, when I'm into something I'm into it!!! Been looking for wheels for some time now and I do tend to gather plenty of info. before parting with my hard earned!

Just installed a BMW short shift kit today and what a difference it makes!!! Love it. The BMW performance exhaust also gives the car a nice edge and sounds not unlike my previous E46 M3!

I hope you don't get the same disease..... it can be harmful to wallet and spouse

Yes, £55 delivered from Redish Motorsport. Normally you can't just get the lever components on their own.

The 135i needs additional components to the 130i though.

There's a post here -
