Do some research first
after going back and forth at South Bay BMW for the 3rd time. My SA is trying to convince me to pay 300 for an alignment because my steering angle sensor needs to be replaced. Did some research about steering angle sensor and clearly it says there that the steering angle does it affect the angle of the steering and counts the number of times the car turns. it says there that even when your car is not moving the sensor keeps on working. The sensor light keeps turning on when i turn and when on stationary. My car is at South BAy BMW now and not even an hour after my SA called me and trying to fish to get my car aligned. Tom he will defintely call again and if says that alignment first ($300) i will bring him print outs and pull my car out. Read forums and do some RESEARCH before bringing your car to the dealer! Alex is the SA at South Bay BMW.

Wait...so what happened to all of this praise?
http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=289475 Maybe you should wait until you have completed your experience before trying to put up a dealer review. Because right now, I am not sure if you think thumbs up or not.

All i am saying is wether its an SA that is highly recommended here on the forum (which he is) that you do some research first and be sure u have an idea why are you bringing car for serviced

Well I once tried to go the same route you did, and when I made comments about my experience....I received some "please, can you not be so negative." pms. So now I just avoid commenting on that particular place. But let me just tell you...I went in for a simple oil change outside of warranty and they wanted to charge me >$350. Whatever, I go to New Century now. That is all I am going to say about that.
