Basically, Powerchip from California, is offering a Group Buy to have BMWs tuned via your car's OBDII port (so no need to remove ECU). If there are over eight people committed (as there are now), Powertune will be flying a person over to Houston to do a standard tune or a custom (dyno) tune at great discounted prices.

The contact person at Powerchip organizing this Group Buy is Mike. Direct: (323) 375-4BMW. Powerchip is thinking about sending the tuner over in mid-October to early November.

Right now there are a lot of e9x M3 people signed up, but Mike said that he also has the software and talent to do standard and custom (dyno) tunes for almost any car, especially e46 M3s and e9x Turbos.

If you would like to sign up, just add your user name to the list. Mike said that the more people who sign up, the further discount we can all get.

I may be searching the wrong site, but Powerchip NA shows no "chip" for an 09 E92, non-M

Am I missing something? I'd like to see more info on how much power one will obtain with this mod.
