+ 10. I was building a project right across the st. Its a day I will never ever forget. God bless the brave men and women that lost their live during this tragedy. And God bless the men and women that lost their lives trying to save the lives of others.

i was a junior at archbishop molloy HS in queens. 11th grade earth science class. i was in between lab and class when we heard about a plane going into the WTC. one of the guys in my class said that because of the US open, one of the planes got re-routed the wrong way and it could have been an accident. my teacher, Mr. Verdi (a BMW guy himself) always had on the radio in the morning. everytime we walked into class he had on an oldies station. walking into class was a little different that day. we walked in and he was standing around the radio not even moving. usually when we walked in we were always laughing and goofing around. after a few seconds all the laughing simmered down into dead silence. no body moved even a muscle. the part that i unfortunately remember the clearest was when the first town started coming down, the woman on the radio was screaming at the top of her lungs. you feel so helpless just sitting there listening. you really dont know what to do. worst day ever. i hope i never hear of something like that ever again. my deepest condolences to all who lost someone on that horrible morning. RIP.
