Inspection at Dealership?

Hi, I just recently purchased an 08 328xi 6spd. I need to get a state inspection on this soon. I was wondering if I should go to the dealership or just find a local shop for this. I know the dealerships are usually more expensive but my only concern was a)if they do a better job and b)if BMWs need special tools or whatever to do an inspection properly. If all of these don't matter could you guys give me a good independent shop in the Montgomery County/Lansdale area? Much appreciated.

If u recently got it, then it should have been inspected by the dealer before you drove it off the lot. Cars are suppose to be re-inspected after ownership change.

it could have been a demo car. or one of their loaner vehicles that was never technically "registered".

In PA you have to have a sticker in your windsheild so he could have bought it out of state where it doesnt need inspected. Thats why he probably needs it inspected.

Yea I bought this car in NJ and I live in PA. Brand new title and plates as well. Soo where do you all get your Bimmers inspected?

dealer does not charge extra for inspection. they only charge whatever nys charges and it would be the same price anywhere you go. they dont charge for labor on the inspection.... at least this was the case when i went

I only paid 10$ at BMW of Manhattan and its better than taking it to any type of places

go to dealership, u will get a complimentary car wash as well..

Any gas station or mechanic shop can do it...

I paid $10 at Shell a few days ago.
