Black line tail lights

Hey all!

I'm wanting to get my hands on a set of black line tail lights. I've called my local BMW and they've quoted me $480 for the set; think that's a bit too steep!

Anyone got any better places to get these lights by any chance?

there must be a mistake.
german bmw dealers sell them for about 300$.
I`d just ask another bmw dealer and if they are telling you the same price than the other one please ask them why they are so fukking expensive over there.

but it will be hard to find them in other shops than bmw dealerships since the hatchbacks weren`t sold in every country.

Another source that comes in my mind would be ebay...

I think thats normal for Austrailia. Prices are crazy!!!

Get a set from the UK and import them. They are around £160 retail in the UK.

PS I have read that there is a supply problem though as I hear the company that manufactures them has fell victim to the credit crunch.

There are a few on babybmw forum waiting for them also and one of the dealers made enquiries and come back with this info.

I just got a set from Germany - was significantly cheaper than the dealer, got them from this guy:

just make sure you get the right sort, there are different ones for cars with and without Xenons (and also pre and post facelift)

The only thing I see them selling is a tail light tinting service. Are they able to get OEM parts as well?
