19" wheels on stock suspension
if i have a 330i without S/P and i want to put on 19" wheels, but i dont want to lower the car or put any suspension kits on. will that make the car look higher or lower. or will it make the car look weird

does anybody have any input on 18" wheels "without" Sport Package suspension. I want to put on 18s but if i dont lower the car and i dont have S/P will it make my car look to higher off the ground.

Bigger the wheels, the higher the car is going to look; you may really want to consider a suspension setup for the car, a little drop with big wheels looks very nice, big wheels and no drop looks awkward.

The drop from the sport suspension is only 0.6 inches. I wonder how much of a difference that makes. Somebody should post before/after pictures for us to discern the disparities, conspicuous or not.
Not that I care, of course - from what I've heard, getting the sports package is a good deal - bigger wheels, steering wheel, and the sports seats themselves are supposedly worth the money. On top of that, the ride handles a lot better (and even safter if one is to extrapolate that advantage). |
