Climate comfort windscreen & RD interference?

Hi,
1) Any folks out there (especially from WA) have experience with interference from CC windscreen using dash mounted RD?

2) "Hypothetically", is the Bel STi-R (remote) the best option for stealth & funtionality?

Any information welcomed.

(PM me if you wish to)

Remote installation is the best option. I don't have an RD in my car due to CCW. Bel Sti-R is expensive and installation is also expensive especially at the dearlership given it takes at least 4-5 hours to install. I would trust my car with an outside installer.

Even the Sti-R is not going to save you from a multonova b'cos of the angle in which they are set up ... 30 degrees... which means unless there are other vehicle or objects around it, by the time the RD picks up the signal it's too late.

Save the money and drive sensiblely and you will be fine.

I use(d) a Valentine V1 windscreen mounted. With the proliferation on lasers I found it's become a bit pointless as by the time the laser is detected, you're pinged anyway. It's quite good for multanovas but as mentioned it's all up to the angle. I've even been through rear-aimed m/novas which aren't detected until you've passed.

I've found the best RD is the oncoming traffic - flashing headlights!
