Yet another VMR v710 owner - gunmetal on Tiag e92!

Just placed my order for 19" VMR v710 in gunmetal for my tiag e92 335i! Should get here this friday, so I'll post pics then! From all my searching the only mounted shots with that color combos are either sedans or Brandon@eas's old 328 with the m3 kit. Hopefully these pics will come in handy for those interested in this color combo for a non-m3 coupe.

btw, they're wrapped in General Exclaim UHPs

Does anyone have any suggestions/recommendations as far as mounting or other things? Anyone have any ideas for a spare?

Can't wait!

some pics!

bad news!

So im selling my rims and they are getting shipped off tomorrow (Saturday)

Bad news: My new wheels don't get here until Tuesday according to UPS! Pretty disappointed since they seller was pretty confident they would get here today... Oh well. So that means I had to jack up my car for a couple of days until my new wheels come in....

So one jack and 4 stands later......

that's so sad to see. but gunmetal on TIAG is gonna look sick, i like when rims are a bit darker than the car. When my rims are all full of brake dust and dirty and car still is clean (you know how long TIAG remains looking clean) - i really think car looks better.

why the sh.tty tyres though?

i did a little research and the general exclaims were overall a good value performance tire, so i think i should be happy with them. (i hope )

ill check out the spare kit at tire rack - any other options? Im hoping for something thats fairly discrete. not sure if thats possible

ill get better pics once the wheels are on the car, sorry for the crappy iphone pics in my previous post!

Mobility kits aren't a spare tire, it's an air compressor and puncture sealer, to get you mobile to a tire store. Smaller M cars use them instead of a spare or run-flats. BMW have kits (expensive) and Continental.

I got the wheel/tire package from bavx. I don't want to say anything too bad about them. They have the best prices around (as far as I saw in my research at least) and they have great customer service. Other than the shipping miscalcuation, everything has been pretty good so far.

The rims finally came in today! Unfortunately, there was a small nick in the rear driver wheel, but BavX was quick to find me a solution!

Overall, I can't complain too much because their prices are so freakin' good!

I'll post pics soon...
