Snow sucks rear ended ALREADY

Well happy first snow everyone.
I got back fromn Target before and was on a steep hill and FX35 rear ends me. Not much damage but i do see a little dent and bit of paint is gone.

To be safe i filed police report.

Knowing that it was not my fault, can i go bout doing this totally with his insruance? Like not paying my deductibles etc?
Or if the damage is less than my decuctible and i SOL?

What can i do?

Few days earlier 70+ year old lady backed up to my car in a stop sign denting my front bumpers too. She was shaking bad and bout to cry, my dumbass just let her go. Dam soft hearted.
And now this happens.
Any advice?

You can definitely go straight through her insurance. Some lady hit my dad's trucks about 1 year and a half ago while I was driving. We filed a police report and since the lady said since she didn't want to pay it herself (about $800) I went straight through her insurance. My insurance didn't even hear about it.

Thanks man! Im thinking about $300~500 for repainting or something but the rear bumper has a deep dent so if possible and they need to change the whole bumper ima try for the mtech rear LOL.

Its because jersey sucks.

The other persons insurance will take car of it and yours will never hear about it. Happened a few times with my last car while at school. Those FX45s dont stop for sh*t in the snow anyway. My mother used to have one and it just sucked in the snow.

So insurance will go up either way?

I also heard that if its a parked car like hit and run the insurance doesnt go up either.
Is that true?

Since you work for insurance mines well ask.
Thanbks.,

It's not the weather, it's just that your car wanted you to upgrade the bumpers, that's all.

any claims effect your insurance if your company pays money out. dont believe it for 1 second that if your company pays you anything that they wont potentially raise you.

unless the money came from the other persons carrier then a claims a claim.

my son was on my policy and had his air bags stolen... i put a claim in.... well i went shopping for insurance a few years latter to see if i could find a cheaper rate and was quoted a crazy rate by another company.

i said my driving record is perfect for 20 years, they said but you had a claim. my own company didnt raise me in this case but everyone else wanted to

your fault or not, your still putting a claim in and in the eyes of the insurance company it makes you more of a liability. more liability= more $$$$.

You were rear-ended, there is NO deductible to pay or insurance premium increase on your part, it's ALL covered by the Infiniti's insurance.
Call me and I can assist you with your claim (and fix your car if you'd like), it's on their dime!

Derek
