Rear Spacers: No problems?

Hi -

I currently have 19X9.5 Offset et45 on my rears with 265/30/19s and planning to add 15mm Rogue Engineering spacers. Vehicle isn't dropped with Sport Package. You guys see any issues with doing so?

Thanks in advance.

I have Rogue Engineering's 15mm spacers out back on my non-ZSP 325i. No issues to report. Immediately after installing them, I thought the car felt a little bit more lively at the helm (rotationally speaking), something I never noticed before. Not sure if its my imagination. Subsequent adjustments in air pressure has neutralized the car's attitude in general.

No rubbing issues at all! Even if you drop it with H&R "Sport" Springs or Eibach "Pro-Kits". Post before and after pics!

I have 18x9.5 ET45 in the rear and sport suspension, and recently tried 15mm spacers. I got slight rubbing on big bumps and so switched back to 10mm spacers.

However I have 275/35/18 tires, which are 10mm wider and 8mm taller than your 265s. Maybe the difference is enough to make it not rub for you.

Yea, replace the 275's with 265's and you will be fine!

Rear spacers installed. Happy? You betcha.

Had the RE 15mm spacers installed on the rears today. Yeah!

Pictures don't really do it justice, but I think it' was just enough to push 'em out to fill out wheel wells and widen the stance.

Thanks to Golf, Nina and the rest of the GT-Concept team in LA/Glendale for the quick install. You guys are awesome!

Hey Neuron,

Are those replica's? Where did you get them. I am looking to get the exact same setup on my 2007 SG 335I Sedan........are you having any rubbing issues with/without the spacers? Did you have to roll the fenders?

Thanks,

painoz

Yeh, they're reps. Check out: getyourwheels.com
No issues with them rubbing, so didn't have roll fenders.

Let us know how your 335 turns out!

Strange. I had both 10mm and 15mm spacers with stock 162 setup with ZSP, but no rubbing at all. Not anywhere even close to rubbing.

Maybe the xi has a wider rear track to begin with?
