Going to Europe in the summer and want to pick up some headlamps
clears of course. can I just walk up to the dealer with a part number and pick them up? Any idea what they would cost in Euro? I will be in Germany so I'm assuming it won't be that much. Maybe I should pick some up for you guys? |

Your probably looking at the better part of $2500 USD if you order them new at the dealerships there...
They are not expensive just because they have to make the trip overseas... They are an expensive part period... |

You need to find a clear corner with us spec (we drive on right side) some europe country drive on left side so the light will turn more on left vs right (for US so not to blind on coming drivers) depends on the spec of the country it was built for (am I off the cliff with this?)

i lived in germany for three years and had my e90 out there. i think you are in for a surprise, people stateside commonly get misdecepted when thinking the parts are so expensive because they come from overseas. in the long run with the euro to dollar conversion and cost at the dealership you will find out they are more expensive. but you never know, you might get lucky.

That is in the programming and not the headlight itself... |

He will be in Germany, not the UK, so the light pattern will be correct for the US. (its not the turning, its the cutoff pattern is angled more to one side or the other, depending on right or left-hand drive)
I honestly dont think its going to financially be worth it to buy them there and lug or ship them back here. |
