Course I am, but the Turbo doesn't sound anything like that as you know. What would be absolutely heaven is if the Porka T sounded like the Cayman S etc.

Such flexible engines and so keen to go and go and go. If a car can appear to feel like it loves to 'run' then the Porsches certainly feel that way to me. Sure there's other cars do as well.

I'm aiming to get another one in the future.

Quite possibly but doesn't the fact that it's VTG 'mute' that raucousness to a degree, so even with a sports exhaust it wouldn't be the same?

I enquired about a sports exhaust at the OPC and Porsche do not manufacture one for the Turbo, something to do with heat etc. I know miltek and the like do one but it voids any Porsche warranty immediately apparently.

Funny thing BB, one of the reasons I didn't like the Cayman S was the exhaust note, or lack of it.

Lovely sounds and some impressive driving as well. I'm toying with the idea of getting a sports exhaust for the Boxster, I've heard a few and they make the car sound like a monster.

Really Del? They must have altered them some how on the newer models then as tbh even with the sports exhaust button disengaged the noise was very noticeable on mine. Button engaged and flaps opened (can I say that lol), the deep sensuous growl was head turning as I found out on more than one occasion.

Maybe the engines need a few miles on them before they release the growl.
