Is it OK to use a 5 amp fuse in a 20-30 amp socket?
I got the large add a circuit for a radar hardwire, and it turns out I need a small add a circuit unit. The large slots behind the glove box are all 20-30 amp sockets. Is it OK to use a 5 amp fuse in one of the empty slots? The add a circuit from Parts Express is designed for 10 amps or less. Thanks for any help.

You should be fine. Having a smaller amp fuse is usually much better than having a larger amp fuse.

5 amp fuse should be fine for a radar detector.
