BMW Bellevue = FAIL (Another one)

Brought the car in for...

-Misfires in banks 5/6
-Second failing fuel pump @ 11,000 miles (first replaced at 3,000)
-Radio issue not starting up (search on boards came up with software updates that fixes this issue)

Moron gave me the typical flow chart bullshit, diagnostics, found codes, found modifications... These are the SA's that I urge everyone to avoid.

"We asked the BMW engineers and they stated that we're gonna need a stock car to work on it any further."

Wow. I had my fuel pump replaced the first time with all my current modifications now and my previous SA at the same dealership didn't care at all (I don't remember who it is and it's my fault for not asking for the same guy). He even came out and complimented the car and the mods for sounding great.

An honest SA that can think for himself would honor your warranty and fix all issues not caused by the modification itself. Things like the failing fuel pump/injectors are issues that are widespread on STOCK cars.

So again, whoever has any type of modifications on their car, don't go to "******* *******" of BMW Bellevue. I was orginally scheduled for a guy named Dan? I spoke with him and he was totally cool with having a conversation with me about my modifications. He stated himself that issues that were caused by my modifications would not be warranty work but would come out of pocket. He also stated that misfires were probably injectors/coilpacks/spark plugs and he doesn't see a problem with my mods because he can't see a reason how they could cause the problem.

This "******* *******" fellow won't even continue the diagnostics to tell me how much the bill would be if I were to replace the injectors out of pocket. He won't even update the software for the radio issue. Fucking dweeb. SA's with brains and some car knowledge will be able to make a decision themselves. Those who are brainwashed will simply follow the chart and deny any claims if you have any type of modifications.

Anyone know a good SA at BMW of Seattle? I'm sure they wouldn't like it if I asked for a different SA at BMW of Bellevue for the same issues.

Man that sucks.

I would try BMW Northwest over BMW Seattle, but that's just me.

What mods do you have on there?

If you have your receipt from last time, your SA's name should be on it.

I don't have it unfortunately. I'm so heated about the whole issue.

I left the car overnight on Monday so they could work on it all day today on Tuesday. I FINALLY got a call from him at 3:30 PM after 7-8 calls throughout the day starting at about 10 AM just so he can tell me that they hooked the car up to a computer and then proceeded to not do any work. Funny. Now instead of being able to leave work at 12:30 PM and pick up my car without any traffic on the roads, now I have to change and deal with rush hour traffic. I can't stand it.

I'm gonna schedule with BMW Seattle. This time I've learned my lesson and I'm going to have an open conversation with the SA before I even bring the car in.

Fought my fight and argued for a good 20 minutes.

He now changed his reasons only for the fuel pump for the fact that I have no fuel pump codes.

I asked to see the list myself. There are fuel pump codes.

He then blames the fuel pump codes as being in line with the misfire codes.

I asked him for the service bulletin for what codes he needed for the fuel pump replacement. Indeed only the 2FBF codes were there indicating the need for a replacement.

He refuses again to replace the fuel pump stating per BMW engineers he can't do it unless I have a stock car.

I fight my fight again and ask him why a different SA replaced my fuel pump with the exact same mods and since they replaced the same FAULTY fuel pump with another FAULTY fuel pump, it's dying again and they're not willing to replace it again?

He said he wasn't a part of that and he needs a stock car.

Dropped the car off Monday. Picking it up Wednesday with absolutely nothing done to it.

Stay away from this guy everyone. Do yourselves a favor. I'm warning you.

Just picked up the car.

On top of all the headaches and bullshit.

They washed the car . God I'm so angry over all the stealership politics, but comon don't break my heart by washing the car. Alex knows... I take very good care of my paint and this just makes me sad.

I came in the dealership and gave 4 issues.

1.) Misfires - didn't get fixed.
2.) Fuel pump - didn't get fixed.
3.) Radio issue - didn't get fixed.
4.) DO NOT WASH THE CAR!!! - Car got washed.
