can runflat tyres be fixed?

i had a puncture last night and continued travelling for 25 km at 80km an hour, can the tyre be fixed or do i have to get a new tyre?

Yes, as long as it is not in the sidewall. I had one and it was patched.

I had a nail, they patched it and it has been working fine, but they mentioned that if the patch doesnt hold then you will need a new tire...so, try it, youve got nothing to loose exept $11.

For me it would depend on my driving style. If you drive on the autobahns at high speeds (over 200 kph) I would get a new tire.
