It's a nightmare here in South Manchester...

First photo - the view from my house (the RX8 burried in the foreground & the 330d parked in the distance where it's level)...

Second photo - up the next street where the 330d is parked.

My motor was supposed to be having it's new rear screen fitted this morning but that's been cancelled and rearranged for Monday (another week without my car!!!).

Had to help a 730d driver this morning who got stuck exactly where I did the other week; lovely car but damn heavy!!! Working from home today!!!

Very pretty though, the first shot especially.

Snow getting here at about 6 pm. We've already had one week like this already down here though.

It didn't get this bad in London though?

Wonder what it's going to be like tonight...

It's dumped 6+ inches in North Yorkshire with the first wave. There's supposed to be a second front coming through later this afternoon.

Well, non of it has melted at all today and it's started to snow once more. It's supposed to be even worse tomorrow. There problem here has that it snows, doesn't melt (or melts a little), freezes overnight, then snows on top. There's then layer upon layer of snow and ice which takes ages to thaw. Doesn't help when our local council hasn't been anywhere near once!!!

Just walked into my local village for supplies and everywhere is already out of fruit, veg & bread!!!

You can easily move about up here despite us having two weeks of this now. All main roads are totally clear and Hull city roads are always kept clear. Seen the trains running as well.

Just our friggin street on a ruddy hill that doesn't get gritted.

Roger,

I'm in the same boat as you, I must be a few miles away from yourself, haven't even bothered trying to dig the bimmer out.
