I'm feeling neandarthalic (is that a word?) and have now not shaved for 5 days. Healthy sprouting occurring. The wife's not thrilled. I quite like it. And it certainly keeps the chill of the cheeks in these frosty temperatures. Gauging public opinion.

OP needs to be more precise with definition of beard. A well maintained trim beard looks good. Women love it too. Obviously nothing too drastic. I keep a trim beard most of the year. Look about 12 without one.

Holiday and long weekend growth is good. Trying to shave it off on Monday morning with a dull blade before going back to work is bad.

I'll have six days growth by next Monday. Will have a sore face after.
