FS: US Spec Adaptive Xenons BRAND NEW
I want to sell my xenons. You want to buy them. Any questions? $900 for the pair, in excellent shape, plus shipping. No pics available right now, but you KNOW what they look like, and I'm telling you that they're in good shape, so this should be enough for you to decide if you're sincerely interested. I'm obviously NOT asking for a commitment. Matt EDIT!!!!! (11-17-06) These headlights got damaged. The angel eyes MELTED! yikes. Anyway, I'm now selling BRAND NEW Xenons! Mine are getting replaced under warranty. BRAND NEW! UN-USED! Us spec xenons! Last edited by ///Matt; 11-17-2006 at 10:42 PM.. |

Yeah, so are you going to be rolling around with no headlights then? or are you getting halogens for a 330?

Absolutely.
We are currently working on a way to do it with NO error message, but have not succeeded yet. Currently, if I install them you WILL have an error when you first start the car. Matt |

well, yeah. If you buy the correct footwell module, then you have no error message, but instead you get no highbeams.

Please, someone buy these? I'll make a deal...
$1100 gets you these US Spec Adaptive Xenons AND A US Spec Adaptive Xenon compatible Footwell Module, brand new. (Part number ending in 999) I've devised a way (still needs more testing) for halogen users to convert to Xenon, get NO error, AND get their highbeams. but it DOES REQUIRE this Footwell Module. |

For those w/ stock Halogens, how do the adaptive Xenons deal with not having the sensors to base their angle off of...eg - are they just locked at whatever angle they were taken off of the car they were on? I can envision buying a set of headlights that are angled to the left or something, or pointing down too low, and when you now install them in a car without the sensors, they will never correct themselves.

The headlights recenter every time you turn the car off, so it'd be pretty tough to get a set of headlights that are off center. The headlights will simply never turn. They will become non-adaptive headlights. No one yet has had this problem, and there are plenty of people here who've converted.

It defaults to zero. These concerns are non-existant, bud. There's SEVERAL cars who've retrofitted to Xenon, and you concerns don't manifest themselves.

Just trying to educate myself on how all this works based on what I did know about the adaptive Xenons.
