Alignment off after tires

So I decide to switch out my Bridgestone Run Flats to Continentals Extreme Contact DWS (great tires btw). However, I noticed that my alignment is off now (pulling to the right at 40mph+) after the new tires were installed. Prior to that, alignment was fine with the run flats (no visible uneven wear either).

Is this normal? Is it recommended to do an alignment after installing new tires?

Whats a good place to perform this task and how much does it run?

Thanks Guys!

I had a similar problem when I switched my 0 day old runflats for winters here.

You can take it to a shop that has a Road Force balancer and ask them to lateral balance it which helps to eliminate the pull. It probably won't be 100% gone (mine isn't) but it is better than have a strong pull at higher speed.

Probably caused by radial pull. Could be a characteristic of that model tire or could be a bad tire.

Changing tires doesn't affect the alignment, so something else must be going on.

got my 4 wheel alingment performed. everything checks out. the technician noted "radial pull".

Going to call the tire center for replacement of the "radial pull" tire since the tires are brand new.
