VMR Offset Question for the Experts!
I'm thinking about a set of VMR VB3s for my E92 335i on stock ZSP suspension. I have no plans to lower the car, and do not want to have to fender roll. My thoughts right now are for:
Front: 19 x 8.5 ET35 w/ 235/35R19 Continental ExtremeContact DW tires Rear: 19 x 9.5 ET33 w/ 265/30R19 Continental ExtremeContact DW tires How does that setup sound for avoiding any rubbing issues? Also, I do like the extra concavity of the 19 x 10 rears - would it be possible to have the 19 x 10 wheels on the rear with these Continental tires without rubbing? If so what offsets would be recommended? Would 275/30 tires be the best fit for these? I am not at all a fan of the stretched tire look. Thanks! |

That is an ideal setup, you can fit the 19x10 ET38 rear but may need to roll if you go up to a 275 rear tire. I suggest sticking with the 19x8.5 and 19x9.5 setup to prevent rolling fenders but if you are okay with it, then do the 19x10.

To stay on the safe side, stick with the 265s, there's not much difference between the two for a street vehicle.

Go for the 19x10s et38. you should be fine running a 275/30-19. i ran this on my stock setup (on Falken fk452 tires) and i didnt have any rubbing issues.

If you're set on getting the 19x10s, then I would say you have a good chance of fitting the 275 Continentals. I'd only give it a shot if you were willing to risk some slight rubbing. Continentals have rounded shoulders and generally run a bit thinner. But if you're not into the stretch look, then 19x9.5 +33 with 265/30/19 tires will give you a rub free fit while being as flush as you can get without touching your fenders.

I just went with the 19 X 10 personally on the vb3's in the rear.
I stuck with 265's for now. (Hankook v12 Evo) I have yet to install them. But I can't wait! 275 will require fender rolling and you should look into a rounded thinner 275 from what I hear if you go that route. |

Thanks again everyone for all the feedback. I'm now thinking maybe I should just stick with the 19 x 9.5 at the rear with 265/30 tires, just in case I do decide to lower the car at some point. Sounds like this is the safest option given I don't want to fender roll or have the stretched tire look.
