Hello everyone...

In a bit of a pickle here... planning my wedding anniversary for my wife and I and I thought since my wife's dream car is a Mini Cooper I thought I'd rent one for the weekend just to pamper her.

But here's where I ran into a brick wall - I can't seem to find any. I am specifically looking for one with an automatic tranny as my wife's almost forgotten how to drive stick.

So if you have any info on places in Sydney that have Mini Coopers in automatic, or if you have a mate who has one and is willing to give it up for the weekend (end of Feb), I am more than happy to pay $300 for the weekend. I will also refuel her (the car) before returning.

Is your car due for a service? Most of the BMW loan cars are mini's.

+1 my mate got a clubman as a courtesy car mid last & i must say we had some fun ringing it's neck! Those things can move & handle like a go kart! So much fun.

my local dealer (canterbury) have given me 120i's each time i've brought it in...

AND my car's not due for service till November... oh well

Maybe you could organise for some "warranty work" to be done on the car and then ask for a Mini loaner. I've had a brand new mini whilst mine was in for warranty stuff, was a base model manual though with less than 200km on the clock

there use to be a place on the corner of William street and Crown street that use to rent out Minis and other sport cars. Not sure if they are still there but last time I saw, the shop it had a moving sign.
