Insideline new 2011 5-series first drive review 02/24/2010

So it seems that a lot of reviews coming out for the new 2011 F10 5-series are blasting how the new steering system is not on par with the sporting nature of BMW's past. the below link is a new review from insideline.com that was released this morning. Seems like the 5-series is going away from it's roots

Hmm...getting a little worried about this electric steering.

It is weird that there is such difference of opinion on this issue, even within the same magazine/website:
Daniel Pund from InsideLine reviewed the 2011 530d and seemed impressed by the steering:
"Lest you think we're Luddites, we'll note the electric-assist steering that comes on all 5 Series is spot-on in terms of feel — not often the case with electric assist units. Suffice it to say you won't be disappointed if you opt not to pay for the fancy four-wheel steering"

Maybe Daniel and John Griffiths need to have a conference call on this steering issue.
