NYC Places to see
And before you say it, I searched.
I'm going to NYC for a trip with friends (bus, much cheaper) and I'm wondering what's the places to see, of course there's the known spots (times square, etc) but i'm sure there's places that not a lot of people know that are pretty awesome. Also, not 21, so unless maybe you guys can suggest a place that's cares a bit less about these things, that'd be nice, but laws are laws.. (isn't 18 enoughhhh) anyways, thanks in advanced guys (oh, and if there's an e90 meet from march 2nd to march 5th, count me in, if i can make it, that is!) |

Where you staying?
Also if you dont plan on going out as much since your not 21 spend the money on some good restaurants (which are usualy more lienient with IDs anyway) Some cool spots: MOLE == Small Mexican place downtown on Houston and Allen Street, Best Mojitos in the city, great bartender, great food La Esquina Corner Deli == one of the greats secrets of NY... Street level this is just an old school loking deli with seats at the counter... Call in advance and ask for reservations downstairs, when you arrive knock on the employees only door and you will be taken down to a full restaurant, awesome spot If i think of more ill add Plenty of great bars but being 23 im not to up on what bars let underage in... If you got a decent fake Black finn on 53rd and 3rd is always a good time and not too strict Of course there are the staples of NYC, Steakhouses (perter lugers, ruth chris) Mexican (dos caminos) andf other such chains...just trying to give you some different spots to go to... |

Museums:
The Metropolitan Museum of Art MOMA (Museum of Modern Art) - Tim Burton Exhibit on display until April 26th, 2010 Guggenheim - cool architecture, modern art Museum of Natural History Madamn Tousseau's Wax Museum Car Related: Manhattan Motorcars (alot of exotics) GPNY (30 minutes North of NYC - Go Karting Fun) Tourist stuff: Time Square Top of The Rock (30 Rockefeller Plaza) Statue of Liberty Ground Zero Empire State Building Wall Street Gracies Mansion - Mayor of NYC residence Brooklyn Bridge SoHo - shopping is fun, but pricey and usually boring after a few hrs Nightlife: most places are pretty strict about being 21, find a e90 member who will let you drink at their apt/house Restaurants: Buy a Zagats of NYC and read up what you like.

Not sure if you are into broadway shows, but def check out some shows if you have the time. South of 57th street and 5th ave is where all the end end shopping is. If your into watches, definitely check out Tourneau Time Machine on 57th and madison . . . I would suggest one of the ferry's around the city also but it might be a bit cold for that right now.

Many of the best restaurants in the country are in NYC.... But, bring a lot of money... Peter Lugers is more expensive than you can even imagine.
+1 on broadway shows, if you're into theater even a little, nowhere else compares. +1 on zagat If you venture into brooklyn, Difara's pizza on J has THE BEST PIZZA in the WORLD. If you're into cameras, B+H is like charlie and the chocolate factory for camera nuts. |

Ok, as a 19 year old staten-islander, I think I could help you out in the nightlife area...Google all of these and decide what'll be best.
Like someone said before, Black Finn--you need a fake Hook and Ladder II- Not sure if you need a fake or not, but my friends in the city say they are pretty lenient and i know a bunch of kids our age go there. Yoshi sushi- Sake bombing, they barely ever card. if they do, get someone that has a fake to order drinks and just down their stuff over and over |

You're FUNNNNYYYYYY
Nah jk, trust me I hate guidos more than anyone else. Being Italian and not looking like that while surrounded by those goons is terrible. I had to get off this island for high school and went to xavier in manhattan. I made a video that has 500k views on youtube making fun of them. And true to what you said at the end. I just thought he might want some places since he asked specifically regarding places that didn't care. |

Fake ID and your Gold. If you look old enough, you can probably get by in LES. Money talks, so dont be afraid to slap a 20 in the bouncers hand.
and fack Peter Luger, Go to Mortons, Ben and Jacks or Del Friscos http://www.mortons.com/steak/menu.php?id=MNY you can thank me later
