I'm new to the Charlotte area, and I am very interested in upgrading to a 335 soon. I will say I'm only 24 but I pulled up im my 06 325i which that alone should let you know I'm a serious buyer, I was there over ten minutes before anyone attempted to help. Pissed me off to the point where I'm looking at an Audi currently. Has this happened to anyone else young or am I just paranoid?

no pulled up front and went looking at vehicles. Several salesman were standing around, I only saw one other couple there they were taking delivery.

I'm totally with you. I live in Charlotte also and drive a a 06 E90 325i and am 25. Myself and my whole extended family have been very loyal customers of Hendrick BMW and also one certain salesman (we have purchased over 15 vehicles) but everytime I go in I get treated like crap by everyone there INCLUDING our salesman. You would think he would be a little bit nicer so that he can continue to sell to us, but he is disappointing everyone in our family so we are moving on to another dealership.

I'm also in the market for a new car (135i) and I'm not really even considering Hendrick because of the crappy service I have received there. If you really want to stick with BMW look online at different dealerships and look for a car that you would be interested in, that's what I'm doing. There's a 135 that I like in Tenn and I'm willing to drive a couple of hours to go check it out or even get it. BMW is the best and it is totally worth it for me to do that!

I still think it is really crappy that some people will treat us like crap just because we are young but that's just their loss, that means they aren't going to make any sales off us, they are shooting themselves in their own foot.

+1 for Constantine at Hendrick. I just purchased my 2007 335i from him he was very up front with numbers and very accommodating with getting us into the vehicles we wanted to see and drive - no problems at all. I walked in in shorts, sneakers and a polo and was serviced pretty well. Good post-sales contact (and some random BMW trinkets) from him too. If you buy from Hendrick I recommend talking to Constantine.

I'm 20 and have never had a problem at Hendrick. Most CA's won't bother you unless you ask for help (a good thing IMO) and if you talk to the receptionist she'll get someone who isn't waiting for an appointment to see you. I've never been treated anything but professionally at (the new car side of) Hendrick.
