xDrive

Been reading a lot about the xDrive (bmw all wheel drive system) and curious if this is standard in all new 3 series sedans / coupes. There doesnt seem to be any info on this on the BMW website or brochure.

You say you have a 335i.

Is it awd?

Are all of your 875 posts this informative?

I guess my question is, does AWD (xdrive) come standard in both the new Coupes and Sedans (335i model), given there doesnt appear to be a 3 series x model available for sale on the Australian BMW website?

And no i dont have a 335i.....yet.

The answer is NO.

Do a search or go away.

I guess there are any number of unforeseen circumstances i could hypothosise. I suppose the boat that it's sailing to Australia on could sink, but then again, the dealer would make me choose another.

I thought it was a fair question regarding the xdrive and how there is no information on the Australian website regarding this technology. I never even heard about it before i placed my order, yet you seem to drive one of these x models. Not sure what the point is if you haven't got the power behind it to get effective use from the system.

Just checking out your garage. Tell me, couldnt you afford the professional pack as an option?

And what is RGRAY anyway? Almost looks like an anagram for ANGRY.

Thanks again for your informative, well thought out and helpful response to my post.

Be honest now.

Are you still driving your mother's car?

You're the one that says you're driving a 335i.

What's a professional pack?

Do you mean a Premium Package.

You don't even know what you are talking about.

Did you order the professional pack?

This is just tooooooo funny.

You know some of us actually have a life and dont have time to recite and absorb the BMW brochure verbatim. You knew what i meant obviously, although i'm still confused as I see no reference to the word 'Premium' to anything on the BMW website. The brochure itself refers to the option i'm referring to as 'Control display with 8.8" colour monitor and professional navigation system incl. TV and voice recognition."

What the hell is wrong with you anyway? Considering you're behaving like a child, I think most would believe it's you driving their mothers car and that those pics are really of your daddys car.

Still looking for a sensible answer to my question if someone else can help me. The quicker the better so i no longer need to listen to this boy talk smack.

Are you blind? It's written in my signature block.

Why dont you answer my question as to why the xDrive is not described in the Australian BMW website? Show me one link to that technology? Hence my original question, is it standard on the new 335i's.

And yes, i did place an order without knowing this. How could I know when the dealer never mentioned it and there is no info pertaining to this technology on the website and configurator?

Gees!!! What the hell is wrong with you!!

And your's is WRONG.

Sorry, but it looks like you didn't do your homework.

At least you will be surprised when you get your car.

Yes thank you. I'll remember next time when purchasing a new car to scour the manufacturers websites in different countries to ensure i'm familiar with the engineering differences down to the thread type of the sump plug before making a purchase.

Then again, i'll only have my 335i for 3 years before upgrading. If i was keeping my car for 10 years then maybe it would make sense to be a little more astute, like you!!

Anyway, I've gone past the point of caring. I'm just laughing at how much of a d%ckhead you really are.

But seriously, you should get laid. There are plenty of gorillas in Africa to choose from. Just stay away from the silverback, as he might be a little too rough on you to start with.

OH MY GOD!! I just realised you're in the states. You realise this is an Australian forum? What the hell are you doing in here anyway you ass clown? Did the other Americans kick you out of all the other forums?

Check out www.bmw.com.au and maybe you'll understand what prompted my question.

This is too funny!

What should I start with?

In my experience, a pratt like you needs a good rodgering (most likely from a silverback) to fix your abrasive personality. Considering also you're American, you might find you're beyond hope!

No offence to the other Americans out there. Most of you are alright, however RGRAY has illustrated quite classically the behaviour that is synonymous with the stereo-typical arrogant attitude the rest of the world despises.

Hey mate i really love ur comebacks they are something to take note of when getting on your wrong side. What RGRAY doesn't know is that there is no premium pack and sports pack etc in Australia. Our 335's or i should say most our bmw's here come with some options with the car already, especially the 335 coupe/sedan. To answer your question the coupe is rwd, this is the 335i varient if you want a awd that is the 335xi varient which is NOT available in Australia. (at least for the moment, check with dealer)
