Automatic Light Setting Always On Even in Bright Sunlight

Does anyone have this problem when putting the light switch in the auto setting and in bright daylight, the lights won't turn off?

Happens in the morning for me, leaving the garage. But by the time I'm on the freeway and it's bright, they don't adjust off.

Your sensor is probably dirty or broken. I'm not sure where the sensor is but I'm kinda guessing it's by the rain sensor by the rear veiw mirror.

dealer can adjust sensitivity parameter on their equipment. if you talk to the tech while it is in for regular scheduled maintenance or scope he will probably do it for free.

you can also look at the hidden menu for the output value of the photovoltaic sensor. if it isn't changing as the lighting conditions change it might be fucked. sensor itself is on back of rear view mount.

Yep. For me, windshield was dirty. After a cleaning it, it's all good - day and night functioning fine.
