do downpipes smell?

quick question to you guys that have aftermarket downpipes on your stock exhaust, is there any smell of gas at all? I can not tolerate that smell at all and I have the convertible so I can only imagine it being amplified do you guys smell anything or do the secondary cats take care of that?

thanks for you help!

as long as you have 1 set of cats in place no noticeable smell is produced.

I have catted DP's and a catless exhaust. I can smell the exhaust a little bit when stopped for a long time, other than that, I can't smell a thing.

I'm fully cat less and yes, it smells. Sometimes I feel that I can smell it on my clothes when I'm not even in my car.

it will smell catless but NOT if you keep one CAT in place. I run with 1 cat for one year and it did not smell. As i removed the secondary the difference in the smell was night and day.

I am expecting AR Design catless downpipes + Autobahn Exotics Performance exhaust with high-flow cats. I am hoping that there won't be too much smell.

Anyone running the same combo?
