Emission testing?

wanting to get some DP's for my car and wasnt sure about the emissions testing policy here in Oregon/Wash. Wondering if I need to go Catted vs. Catless DP's.

thanks

Oregon DEQ for PDX and Medford

Tim,
Oh sure, make me work here. Since I was also curious in light of the DP issue:
Here's the DEQ page re. the tests in PDX Metro and Medford regions. There is also a PDF about the On Board Diagnostics that is worth a read regarding OBD for newer cars: - "For 1996-2000
model year vehicles, if more than two
components are detected by DEQ as “not ready”,
the vehicle will fail the test. All 2001 model
year and newer vehicles will fail if more than
one component is “not ready”. Also if a vehicle
fails for a catalyst or evaporative code, these
emission system components will be required to
be at “Ready” status to pass the test. Other
conditions may prevent your vehicle from
passing the emissions test."

It would appear that catted DPs might be the way to go.
Information you need if your vehicle does not pass the Clean Air Test
