Spam me with good vendors!
My salesrep just notified me today that my car is due in their stealership next week, a whole 2 weeks ahead of schedule!
I've been a little lazy lately and haven't done much research where to buy some parts that I want to put on my car. the stuff I want immediately are: - painted front reflectors - black matte kidney grills - Lux H8 angel eyes - VRS original type II rear cf diffuser I have much more on the mod list such as wheels, brakes, exhaust etc. but those will come later in time. The items above I would like to put on the first week or day that my M3 gets delivered. So plz lemme know which vendors to buy from, particulary ones that do quick international shipping to Canada. So looking forward to the new ///M! |

Lux have been recalled don't know when or if they will be back out. Talk to IND they have all the other stuff you want. They are by far the best vendor I have dealt with

Here's my $0.02:
1. I had a bad experience with JLevi with painted reflectors. They sent junk reflectors that were scratched, appeared to be missing clear coat and had paint over spray on non-painted areas. Very poor quality. They honored my return request, but, I never received feedback on why I received the garbage that I did. Also, I had to eat the shipping costs. In my opinion, stay away from JLevi. 2. Although I initially received the wrong color reflectors from **********s, the replacements I received were a perfect color match that were of high quality. The Matte Black Side Grills I received from **********s were also well done. 3. In general, I would recommend IND or RENNSpec for all of your cosmetic items (grills, reflectors, front lip, diffuser, etc). 4. I would not go with the LUX H8 Rings. I bought and installed them in my M3 and ended up sending them back after a few weeks because of the recall. Unfortunately, there's an inherent weakness with attempting a mod like this utilizing LED's. Specifically, it's difficult to dissipate the heat buildup in the headlamp assemblies. My preference was to have the rings themselves properly modified with LED's. The LED rings from OSS Designs are the best solution. The negatives are price ($500 plus two-way express shipping) and having your car down for at least one week (the headlamp assemblies have to be removed - after pulling the bumper - and sent to Miami for the mods). Big hassle and cost, but, definitely the best solution. Hope this info helps. And remember, my opinions may not reflect the majority opinions on this forum!

Hey thanks everyone for the feedback! I did not know about this LUX H8 recall. I will stay way from that. Now the question is which to get now? I'll probably go for LED but which kit? hmmm...

I've bought several things from Jlevi (roof spoiler, CF trunk spoiler), EAS (AIB's version 3.0), JL-Motoring (Diffuser), Active Autowerke's (filter), and RennSpec from Gary (HR springs, CF mirror caps, hood vents, CF steering sheel, and several other CF's).
Jlevi: The roof spoiler and trunk spoiler from Jlevi were top notch with perfect fitment. EAS: I had multiple problems with the AIB 3.0 when I first received them. However, Tom from EAS was VERY quick to respond and sent them to me overnight. Customer Service was beyond what was expected. JL Motoring: I haven't put on the diffuser, but the shipping was quick and easy to deal with. Active Autowerke's: I went with a friend to AA because he wanted to purchase a filter for his E92 M3. When I first arrived I was clearly impressed with the facility. It was absolutely breath taking. I hadn't planned on purchasing anything when I had gone, but just by the sheer magnitude of the facility and the professionalism from Omar and Jean convinced me to get the filter. I was truly impressed. I'm awaiting patiently for their super-charger. RennSpec: I purchased many of my things from Gary because of his customer service and the HUGE discounts he has given me; also the free shipping. |

I've had good experiences with IND, EAS, Active Autowerkes, and **********s. Renn-Spec was very helpful as well and I wouldn't mind buying from them in the future

Interesting information here. Some conflicting. I`ll reserve my comments until I have closed the loop on some already outstanding transactions. Hopefully I will have postitive experiences to add...
