Washing applicator between applications?

I received my Zaino kit today and am planning on applying 3 coats of Z2/ZFX and Z6 over a 2 day period.
How do you guy's clean the applicator between coats or do you use 3 separate applicators. (6 if also applying Z6 between each coat of Z2)
Thanks

I used the same applicator to put on two coats in the same day. Then waited a couple weeks and put on another coat using a new applicator. I suggest a cotton cloth or towel for the Z6 (actually two - one for applying the other for buffing), not the Z2 applicator.

These terry covered sponges can be cleaned up and re-used a few times - I've run 'em through the washer before. The zaino is good stuff - have fun polishing your car!

I used one applicator for the Z2/ZFX, then washed it (and the little bottle) with a Dawn solution, then applied the Z6. No need to wash between Z6 and Z2/ZFX, since they reccomend you apply either water or Z6 to applicator before Z2/ZFX.
I've put 3 coats of Z2 on my car, plus numerous Z6 coats, and have worn one applicator out. It torn along the seams.

I did my first Dawn/clay bar/Z2/Z6 and noticed I missed a couple of (water?) spots on the hood. Any way to get rid of these without starting completely over? Thanks in advance.

Clay just those spots, then apply Z2 at least to the spot you clay, or the whole car if you have time.

Thanks Wede...I'll try that. I've also noticed some small micro scratches in the clearcoat on one panel....looks like someone brushed up against the car with a metallic object.....barely noticeable but what will take those out....clay? Or do I need another product like 3M Imperial Glaze? I've tried a search but I'm a lazy bum. Thanks again.

By the way...after about 5 days with the first coat of Z2/Z6 my car seems to not only look great but I think that it STAYS cleaner now....especially the hood. Does Zaino repel the dust??

Yes, that's why it's also great to apply zaino to the rims to help with that nasty break dust! I'm up to eight coats of zaino on the car and 4 on the rims.
