phone voice command in german for newly installed bluetooth

Hi,

I bought the bluetooth retrofit kit from bimmernav did the installation and took the car to the dealer so that can be code it. Everything works fine with one exception: the voice command is in german. The dealer said that the language can only be set to german, french or spanish. Has anyone had a similar experience?

BTW: I have A900M from sprint and it works great(phone book, caller id, sound quality, etc)

The bluetooth modules for your car have 6 languages.

German default
American English
Italian
UK English
Spanish
French

The dealer needs to just read out the language of your car and resend it to code the module. One option I have heard customers do is to have them change the language to something like Spanish code it and then back to English. That process is sometimes easier for dealers to handled.

It is a coding thing within the E90. Unfortunately you have to have EVERYTHING coded on the E90. Even adding a CD changer requires coding.
