Estimated hp to the wheels without dyno?
Hey guys I have a 2007 335i coupe and wanted to see if anyone knows around how much hp I should be getting to the wheels with the mods I have so far.
-jb3 2.0 on map 5 -simota cf intake -air scoops -rsd charge pipe w/hks ssqv bov -93 octane also I'm putting on vk downpipes and planning on running map 7 with them this weekend. I know without a dyno it's hard to say but if someone can give me a ballpark estimate I would appreciate it. |

if base whp is 260~270, you should be at 320~330ish but as you said without dyno, it's hard to say. even with dyno, depending on type of dyno, dyno condition, location, etc etc also plays... best to way to get at it is to get base dyno first and go from there

I was shooting for the 400 club but looks like it might be a while till I get there if I'm only at 320-330 now. IC is next but even with that I'll be lucky to reach 350hp.

With map7 and dp's/intake you should be 340-360 I would estimate. Get some meth before the fmic and the gains will be HUGE. Granted it is not a power adder but you can run a bunch more boost. The fmic is a good mod (especially in stl with the heat) but meth cools much better. Also you can get a 5 gallon drum (any kind) and fill it up at gateway for $20 (5 gallons @ $4). That will last a while too. Pm me with any more questions.

400? defintly not......Your right probably in the 350 range is a good idea with the dps but just hit a dyno and put all this internet guessing aside.

I meant 400 after FMIC. I'll prob get that and exhaust and that will be it. After that I would like to move on to exterior mods.

i got 381whp/390wtq ... with JB3 2.0,DCI,AR DP's, and a TS exhaust on map 7... and this is on a Dyno dynamics.. it would have been 400whp on a dynojet. So you shoudl be up there !

all this dyno talk is kinda pointless without your baseline. delta(gain) is what's important not how many whp on dyno sheet. my friend once got extra 80whp due to the machine that was not calibrated right... it sure looked pretty on the dyno but what's the point...

Sorry to tell you, but there is no way you are going to be in the 400hp club with out meth or pure 100/110 octane. Just not gona happen. Full bolt on minus meth (pump) you are looking 370ish, max.
