335is Exhaust note

Is there any reasonably priced way to get the "is" sound on a normal 335i. Can it be as easy as only swapping out the muffler? I love the sound, but money is tight. Any thoughts?? Thanks!

Just remove the exhaust.

Depends on your car. But yes, it's one of the most expensive exhaust systems with the least gains

In another post I mentioned I did the 'golf tee' mod on my 335is and someone commented back that their performance exhaust didn't have that little valve to even mod.

So... it would seem that the performance exhaust might not be the same as the one on the 335is or at least doesn't have the vacuum actuator that the 335is does

If it was somewhere around $1500 installed, i would probably think about it. Aftermarket exhausts are too loud i think. I would like something similar to 335is and/or e46 m3

Tischer as it for just under $1400 and like others have said install should be pretty easy. Cut off old exhaust clamp on new one. I'm thinking of getting this myself.
