Best Sounding Exhaust For 335i

Well its been 6 months ive had my 335i now and im still in love with the car. The stock exhaust sounds great but im looking for a little bit more sound... What are your favorites for the 335i exhaust choice! I would also like to note money is still a factor so im also looking into a muffler delete .

Here comes that word again: "BEST"....

The word "best" means different things to different people.

Personally, I run AE Performance Catless Exhaust along with AR Design Catless downpipes. This combo has completely transformed the soundtrack of my E90

I'm looking to do the exact same. Is it really loud? Did you have bay trouble with state inspection or servicing your car at the dealership?

Not loud at all. Make no mistake, it is nothing like the stock system, but on the other hand its nowhere near annoying. No rasp, no drone. Just super nice, deap throaty tone.

Concerning inspections: in IL a vehicle is not due for inspection until its at least 4 years old. For me this means no inspection till 2012 since I have a 2008 model. Even then, I can go to an inspection station that does ECU based tests. They will see no codes whatsoever.

Concerning the dealership: My warranty is going to expire in Oct 2011 so I am not really that concerned. Besides, I've done only exhaust and downpipes so far.

Autobahn Exotics. I have seen people complain about drone with most after market systems even the BMW Performance but not the AE. I think it may be one of the most expensive but you save weight, loose the secondary cats and LSD install is cheaper and easier. The sound is amazing but no drone and not overwhelming. The sound is deep and clean and down shifts let out this gurgle that will make you grin. Just my .02

Can't believe no one has said this yet:

personal favorite is BMW Performance for a low key exhaust that sounds amazing when you get on it, and Vanguard for a loud balls-to-the-wall exhaust

BMW PE if you can somehow get a deal on it. I love mine. At its asking price, there are much cheaper alternatives for sure.

If you live around Glendale, I have a muffler delete on my E92. You could hear it in person and then go from there
