Exclamation Half throttle misfire

My car has recently been having a part throttle(partial boost) misfire but runs fine at idle and WOT. it seems to only misfire at about 3-4k rpms under part thottle. I have no idle issues and the car starts fine. any ideas?
2007 AT with 72k with a new engine block and pistons 10k ago. running jb3 and dci, does it with the tune and without. Any ideas will be appreciated.
i got a cylinder 4 misfire code once.

swap plug from cyl 4 to another cylinder and see if it still misfires on cylinder 4. If it does just change the plug or change all 6 for good measure. If not may be a coil pack or injector. Why the new block and pistons? Motor blew?

Stock :\ Do you drive long distances? I have a feeling my daily driving of 40 miles at 2000rpm is screwing with my adaptation tables. It feels like the car is running lean around 2500rpm.

it started happening after 8 passes down the quarter mile... in one day..........at cruise-70-80 it runs fine. only when i accellerate at half-ish throttle. but ill be sure to let you know.

I have this problem since new fuel pump, software, and fuel injectors....

I have had misfires in 1, 2, 3 and 4. Replaced fuel injector #1 and still having regular misfires in #2. Right now... the misfiire has been following the injector when I move it. Bringing it in tomorrow...

i put in some techron concentrate with about 5 gal of fuel , drove for about another 100 miles and i cant get it to misfire today.......im going on a 900 mile trip thursday and will let you know if it comes back.

Fuel Injectors or Spark Plugs should be the problem, give them a check.

Received a call from the dealer on Friday saying they have a new software update for the misfires from the new flashes. I dropped my car off and they said the problem is cured, but they want to hold it tell monday (they don't work weekends) and make sure it has no cold start problems.

my problem went away! i changed the plugs anyway and found all normal but cylinder one had a little black on it....hmmm....

They swapped the injectors and plugs and my idle is perfect and mis fire is gone.

Bummer.. Mine seems to be ok right now. They had a software update for misfires. It was released end of last month.

What happened to the first engine? Maybe this could give us a hint as to the source of the current problem.

the first engine had some kind of cam issue and was bucking like crazy, then one day after i picked it up, i accelerated to test it and it threw a rod.
today i noticed that my misfire is only at lower rpms 2500-3500 with a high load. like if im doing 40 or 50mph and put it in 5th gear and accell all the way b4 the clicker it will misfire. but at WOT and high rpms its fine. i got a cylinder 6 misfire twice today...:-(
