Clearcoat polish

OK, so I "nicked" the driver door on some hidden item outside when I opened it. I can't feel any actual scratch, but the clear coat is no longer shiny there. It's less than 2 inches long, maybe 1/4 inch wide. I've put another coat of Z2 and Z6, but that doesn't return the clear shine. Any suggestions?

Sorry for the late reply, did you get it fixed yet? You might want to try somthing more agressive like Meguiars Scratch-X. Also could check out the forum at www.autopia.org and do a search or ask directly.
