Hows quality, fitment and paint?

For $88, it's very tempting.

DO NOT BUY FROM AUTOFANS.BIZ. I recently purchased a set of splitters from them. Big mistake. After receiveing the splitters they were fiberglass instead of carbon fiber as described. Also they advertised a fitment gaurantee...the splitters do not fit. Finally, after a week of emails they responded by asking for pictures. I sent pictures within the hour. They have not emailed me since. I opened a dispute with paypal and within the hour received a notice (from autofans not paypal) that my order status had been changed to cancelled. What the @#$% does that mean???
These guys are jokers with poor products at a good price and zero reliability.

I got a Performance replica spoiler from them. Very good product.

Yay for you. Dumb ol me I guess. Im done messing around with these damn foreign unreliable sellers. From now on I'm sticking with people I can wrap my hands around if they F@#$ me over. Screw you Autofans, I used a credit card so in the long run Im no poorer and a little wiser.

Update, Finally a response after I elevated my paypal dispute to a claim!

They said "The manufacturer basicaly said that the splitter are good to install without fitment issue. Assuming they were correct, have you tried install them with your body shop? They must have the tricks and techniques for you to install them properly"

Seriously? they are splitters...what a bum

Oh goody, he gave me some credit towards the purchase of a 3-D CSL style CF spoiler so I sent him another $200. After a week of no shipping status (2 day shipping on website) he told me they were out of stock I should see it soon. Fast forward another week and a half, he sent me THE WRONG SPOILER!

After that he refused to respond to any emails...ever. I had to file another claim with paypal and ship the spoiler back to hong kong ($66) for a measly $200 refund. After all is said and done with, I am out a couple hundred bones and have nothing to show for it.

Autofans, hell...get there.

wow bro, sucks.... i decided to order mine through e92-lighting, no hassles, stick with the vendors on the forums. but im glad that your sharing your experiences which helps warn other members.

I didn't had a bad experience with Autofans. I ordered a painted CSL trunk lip for my e90 sedan & got it within 8 business days. I exchange a lot of e-mails with John & he seems to be a decent guy. I didn't expect to receive it very soon because it will be coming from hongkong & still needs to be painted. They sent sent it via express mail & the trunk lip is very well packed & protected.
