TPM modules

Does anyone know if the HK f10 has a separate tpm module mounted inside each wheel?

Kfiend?

It should be the same as the US models and yes it's one per corner

Thanks. Just that not all countries have the TPM modules and not quite sure about HK, which is more similar to UK than US.

Kfiend, did you take out yours when you switch wheels?

I also asked this question to the dealer when I order my car. He said the TPM for F10 are not mounted inside the wheels so changing your wheels would not affect the TPM. I did not ask more but I guess you can ask your dealer to elaborate.

I'm sure you can just look at your valve stem on the wheel. The caps on them say TPM on it.

OK. Been searching on the net for this and here's the quick summary. BMW nowadays use the ABS sensors to detect wheel speeds on a straight road and use that as an estimate of tyre "flatness". ie, whether you are running on a flat tyre or not.

It is only in the US where since 2008, legislations requires a real pressure TPM in each wheel that BMW has such system.

So guess no need to worry when switching wheels

Sorry for the late reply guys.
No TPM modules for us in Asia.
So there is nothing to worry about.
