ANy suspension upgrades that retain our warranty?

I feel my 335i Xdrive ride is a little soft, and it sways aon the highway...and I find the steering to lack precision

Is there anything from BMW I can do to my vehicle and retain my warranty that would solve this?

Ie. i was thinking suspension upgrade ...

What do you guys think?

lol, I asked the dealer about this already, about the BMW Performance stuff, thats the only way you will get away with it if ever. Technically there is none for the xi.

However the parts manager said, well if we put it in your car we will need to warranty to springs cause its their part. Of course he doesnt really recommend it, then again he and the CA said that you will hardly find suspension issues. However the big no-no for them is ECU upgrades. I will keep bugging them about the suspension.

The thing for me too is that my insurance is anal about mods so with this, its still an authentic BMW part/upgrade. Nothing they can say. I was thinking about the ZSP but what da hell might as well go with the BMW Performance Springs.

I would pay for BMW performane upgrades, to be fair, I drove twisties yesterday...the car is very very good, and its a softer ride, so its not bad actually. Either way i'm happy.

I quite like OEM stuff, I like my performance exhaust...too bad

One day BMW will have a better XDrive suspension, maybe in the next few years.

Why too bad, the Performance Exhaust is nice! I am thinking of getting it first rather than rims.

One day when BMW uses their xDrive as performance not as safety feature.

There's no suspension mod that will retain the warranty...BMW does not recommend the Performance Suspension be used on the xi so they surely won't warranty it

Unfortunately, the xi suspension will never be sport tuned because we enthusiasts are the minority. People opt for it because of the convenience it affords in bad climates...it's unfortunate but it's the truth

Maybe you can get Dinan... At least they have warranty. But it cost an arm and a leg.

I notice if you get the S Package for example

They do not change the front shocks just the rear. But they change the springs all around. That being said it seems that you don't really "need" to change the front shocks, it seems it can really handle when you lower it with springs only.

Part # SE92-335XS
Labor Hours 11
Price $3175.94
Included Items Free Flow Exhaust; Stage 1 Suspension System (Performance Spring Set, Koni Rear Shocks); Dinan Pedal Pads; Deck Lid Badge; Serial Numbered Dinan-S Plaque
