anyone novating their motor vehicle?

just interested to know if anyone here is on a novated lease with their vehicle. did you get a fleet price or just source the car yourself? am wondering if BMW offers large fleet discounts for their cars or is that more a thing with holdens/toyotas

BMW Fleet discounts are small and you better have a large fleet and plenty of supporting evidence before you'll get too far. With ten other prestige cars on fleet you may however be eligible for their professional package which includes stuff like free servicing for two years. We had just 9, one of which wasn't truly "prestige", and I got knocked back by Head Office!

BMW Financial Services are however very competitive ( in my experience) and have all sorts of nifty options like Full Circle, which basically guarantees you a fixed buyout at the end of the lease. I have my 335i under this, with interest at about 8% and a guaranteed buyback of 45% purchase value after 4 years ( vs 40% NOT guaranteed, norm for this lease period). There are terms and conditions of course, so look into it carefully. Otherwise you might get !

And by the way, it gets increasingly difficult to novate successfully when the car value is greatly in excess of the luxury tax limit. If you are buying a 335i, you are already virtually double the luxury limit Talk to your accountant before you jump into this one!

I novate lease my car. To give you a good picture:
To novate Toyota aurion presara (top of the range) with rrp $49,990 the lease price is:
49990 - 10% GST - 8100 discount.

To novate BMW e90 320d with rrp $61500 the lease price is:
61500 - 10% GST - 3700 discount + Lux Tax , note that the max claimable GST is only 5184.62 so you dont exactly get 10% GST deducted.

As in BMW : none
As in Toyota : very few I would estimate not more than 20.

The company that I work for has less than 400 staff

hmm, with that fewer cars, don't expect much of a discount at all

dad's company has around 300 cars all up, so he was offered a decent price..

which lease company do you go through?

How much is "decent price"? Can you give the example figure?

Because I have disclosed the price, I cannot diclosed the lease company. Sorry
