AE Catback Exhaust .....update with Video!
Just got my AE performance exhaust and ultimate racing catted DP's on......all I can say is WOW!!! The sound this makes is unbelievable definitely louder than the factory exhaust but not annoyingly so there is some drone low in the RPM band but it quickly dissapears turbo lag is almost non existent and on top of that the damn things look mean sticking out the back......really didnt get over 40mph on the way back from the shop cant wait to really hear what she can do.....After further break in the drone is all but gone

Sorry no video yet, but just had her on the hwy. I can say that at a steady 65-80 there is no drone whatsoever I actually forgot for a minute that it wasn't the factory exhaust. As for 2nd and 3rd gear from 2-3krpm there is a mild drone but dissipates quickly. Will try to get some video up ASAP!!!

I love my AE Exhaust
I'm not too sure I'm a fan of their new tips as they look ... cheap. The older ones looked sweet. Thicker with resonating material (I think?) honey comb stuff on the inside. These kind of look like Autozone tips with an AE logo on the side. |

Geesh...You need to rev that engine a little higher to give us a true perception of the sound...Reving it to 3000rpms doesn't tell the story! You dont even hear the turbos spool!!lol

AE Catless (last unit of v1 ) + AR Design Catless DPs. I absolutely love it. I often find myself revving the engine when going under a bridge or inside of a tunnel. The sound is absolutely intoxicating...

Nice mods. Do you have a tune? Grab a procede and pick an inter-cooler. Do it now!

Great Review, and great pictures & videos! We spent a lot time with this system by avoiding drone, but beside... the best possible power, sound, and easier installation. However, your initial post in your thread already covers this.

I noticed your half check engine light came on at the end of your third video.

I've had the AE (no cats) for about 18 months now. It is the perfect exhaust and I have not even had the slightest urge to do anything else.
