BMW performance Brakes for only $845!

United BMW are having a sale atm for sets of front and rear brakes for the 135i. You get all this:

6piston phoenix yellow front calipers w/ pads
2piston phoenix yellow rear calipers w/ pads
front brake sensor, rear brake sensor
front BMW Performance slotted/drilled rotors
rear oem vented rotors

So I was thinking if the fronts alone will fit the fronts on the Z4 this will be a BARGAIN for $845+shipping. I know Brembo haven't tested it for the e89 etc etc...

Will they fit without modification??

Actually it seems shipping is free in the lower 48.

BMW Performance Brake Kit (Complete), (2008-2011 1 Series)

The BMW Performance braking system is designed to facilitate a sporty driving style. The six-piston aluminium fixed callipers and grooved, cross-drilled discs give drivers an incredible amount of control, even in the wet, while their low weight reduces the unsprung mass of the car. Calipers painted in BMW Performance Yellow are a striking visual feature.

135i includes:

* 6 Piston Front Calipers with brake pads and wear sensor
* BMW Performance Front Slotted & Cross drilled Rotors
* 2 Piston Rear Calipers with brake pads and wear sensor
* Genuine BMW factory rear rotors

128i includes:

* 6 Piston Front Calipers with brake pads and wear sensor
* Brake Dust shields
* BMW Performance Front slotted and cross drilled rotors
* Genuine BMW 1 Piston factory rear calipers with brake pads and wear sensor
* Genuine BMW factory rear rotors

Free ground shipping to the lower 48 States is included in the price.

info@unitedbmwonline.com is the email.

Here is the thread: http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=438100

Does anyone know if these will fit???

Im not worried about the rears because at this price it is such a great deal for just the front Brembo-made genuine BMW Performance 6 pistons (I had the same brakes on my 135i and they were excellent) + drilled/slotted rotors.

I have this kit installed in my E89 (front only)
This is a bolt in installation, no modification needed, CONFIRMED
see pictures in my garage
If you look at the individual parts carefully, E90 and E87 kits share the same major parts(calipers, pads, discs) , but the kit's part# for E87/88 is 34110443865, for E90 is 34110444738

Guys: many of you have expressed concerns about the electronic ebrake affecting a rear caliper replacement. After meetings with both Brembo and Stoptech the answer is, there is no effect. The mechanism is still the same as a traditional hand brake, except the way the ebrake is engaged is different.

The e70 X5 uses the same electronic ebrake mechanism but we have successfully installed a full front/rear Brembo BBK setup onto the vehicle.

The only issue now is which rear bbk will fit the Z4 rear brakes. Tried reverse lookup to see if any of the Z4 rear brake components are used in existing BMW models, no luck.

Hope this help clarifies things a little.

Some suggestion from Thai engineer: We need a second caliper for the rear brake for the BBK and leave the stock caliper act as e-hand brake only (painted in black) so the new BBK will show off. But I don't have guts to do according to what he suggested

I asked united a few weeks ago and the answer was "no". It is sold out already. I'm sorry I missed this chance. However, you can still buy front brakes only for about $900.

I found these, different part number since they are for BMW 128 series:
http://www.turnermotorsport.com/html...ANCE-BRAKE-KIT
I think they are the same size as the 135, only this comes with the rear rotors too. Price is not bad for a complete set. Just not sure if there is a difference from 135 and 128 kit?
