This is bugging the hell out of me!

1) Unfortunately I have no idea how this happened.
2) I know this isn't too terrible, but it is very annoying that I have to see this every time I step out the door.

Sorry about the blurry images. To me, it looks like just the black paint got scraped off. However, it could be deeper than that. The scratch's color is white/grey.

I want to know what you guys recommend in order to fix it up. Will just a buff cover it? Touch-up paint? Thanks.

Looks like someone just tapped you pulling in/out of a parking spot. If it's a scrape, you'll probably need some touch up paint and some polish to even things out. It won't be perfect, but it should look better.

Did it actually go through the paint? You sure it isn't paint transfer? I've had a couple of instances where it looked like a scratch but was actually just paint transfer and it came off with a combination of clay and polish.

Need a better pic to tell what's really going on. Could be as easy as a light polish or could require touch up paint.

clay that thing! On second thought, if it catches your fingernail when LIGHTLY dragged across it, don't waste the clay.

I didn't know you could use wax to remove scratches.

you can't, the pic isn't very good but it's its just a scuff he may be able to buff out with compound, if it's through the paint then repaint is obv needed.
