It's good to know how to get the cup holders out. But, I'm not sure what you are "fixing" because there's no narrative on what's going on.

More verbiage would be helpful.

no it didn't come out. in one of the pictures you can see the problem.. i just snap it into place again and everything works again...

Funny thing, how the heck does it came out of order ?

This year I bought a 2008 e91 and I tought I was suposed to open just one of the cup holders, guess I was wrong. Thanks for the DIY, very usefull.

Already did it today.

A word of attention, in my case the cup holder did not came out of the case.

I had to take of the cover. By doing so, a spring marked in red circle in picture unroled back and came out of place. No big deal, just hook it like it is in the picture and mount case. Very easy.
