Non-RFT tyres on RFT rims

Tried a forum search, but nothing comes up.
Does anyone know if it's ok to fit non-RFT tyres to RFT rims?
Are the bead profiles significantly different and are there any problems with pressure loss?

I've looked into it and I've found people who have done it without any problems. I'm planning on doing it myself as soon as I get the car - RFTs off and Conventional tires on. No loss of air, no sensor glitches and allegedly you will get a quieter, better riding, better handling set up in the process.

It is fine to fit conventional tyres on EH2 rims. If in doubt check out the tyre manufacturers comments, such as Pirelli.

Standard tyres can be fitted to EH2 rims but they will not have run flat.....
From my own experience I'd say normal tyres have better security on an EH2 (extended hump) rim, as the bead is better supported. When I had the worn out Goodyear F1's removed, (non run-flats) needed a bit more effort to break the beads, than if fitted on conventional H2 rims. Tyre fitter commented on the tighness of the fit.
