Question F10 530D ES Bluetooth and Alarm

Having just bought my 530D ES five days ago, I'm starting to find the odd question or two which don't appear to be answered in the manual or by doing a search of this and other forums. Apologies if I'm wrong.
First question. I'm about to travel from the UK to France by ferry and it is a requirement to lock the car but not set the alarm. I could do it by using the key and not the remote on my E39 525TDS SE, but that doesn't seem to work on the new car.
Second question. Does anyone know if BMW intend to make a 'phone cradle for the Nokia E72 (a popular business 'phone) I was told to try the cradle for a Nokia E71, so I ordered one and it arrived today in the parts department, but the E72 is a tad bigger than the E71 and it does not fit.
Otherwise, the car is just (so far) fantastic!

Is it functional cradle you're after or just a holder?

It a functional cradle I need. Long journeys from Scotland to Europe mean I need it to be charged. I have bought a Brodit mount for the F10 and it is operational at the moment but a bit untidy as it charges via the cigar lighter in the cup holder. Anyone know if the cupholders can be easily removed? I would prefer to have the Nokia E72 in the cradle with its charging facility and better reception.

Ah, fair enough. I was going to suggest Brodit as a stop gap.

If you press the lock button twice in succession, the tilt sensor and the interior sensor should be switched off which should be what you need on a ferry.
