I think there is a calculator for that in the "Wheel and Tire" category. I may be wrong.

Garage List
example:
265/35R18 88W

"265" = Width of your tire in mm
"35"= Tire aspect ratio (i.e. whatever distance 35% of 265mm is, the lower the number the lower the profile)
"R" = Type of Construction (in this case it's radial)
"18" = Diameter
"88W" = Load and speed rating

You could also go with a 235/35 275/30 setup.

Assuming that you are purchasing the proper E9x Non-M fitment of 8.5/9.5 +35/33 then you'll want a 235/35/19 front and a 265/30/19 rear.

ordered them last monday, got 8.5 front and 9.5 rear

and 38mm off set front and rear.

i was thinking 265/30 rear, and 235/35 front

went to tire kingdom for those measurments and the guy told me like 1000 something in just tires , and he said id be lucky if they last 10k miles, what do you guys think?

and which size of tires would be cheapest?

PS2 have a treadwear of 220
Hankook V12 - 280
generals - 380
Continental ExtremeContact DWS - 540

so 10-14k for the ps2 makes sense.
if u push ur bimmer alot, have a heavy foot, u're going to go through
tires quicker.

if ur the daily driver and want a good tire, the generals have been
used by many members for years. The Extreme Contact i have yet
to drive in them. I would serch on the forum for a review. The treadwear
looks very good - just don't know the comfort level.

The Hankook V12 are performance tires on a budget. For the price you
pay u get a great tire.

I live in cali - so summer tires all year round.

Lower treadwear means less not more life of the tire.

Ps2 are great tires, but if u don't want to switch em' out to often get a tire with more treadwear.

Good luck man.
