LC dynas vs iconz

So i put in an order for some iconz 730z because I liked the aggressive offsets and overall clean look it emits. Did a little more research (which I should have done BEFORE ordering the iconz ) and found that they look almost exactly like LC dynas, except 3 times the cost. are the iconz reps of the dynas, or vice versa? has anyone seen or compared the two in person?

I know this is a very specific question, but just wondering if the iconz look drastically better, since to my untrained eyes they look the same in pictures.

1st: iconz 2nd: dyna

Remember that the Dyna's are a 1 piece wheel.

These two wheels are nothing alike. Iconz are 2 or 3 piece forged wheels, where LC Dynas are a gravity cast wheel. Big difference in money, and quality.
Dont get me wrong I love the LC Dyna, but the Iconz are in a step or two above the Dynas!

pretty much a difference in how theyre made...
Some would argue that forged is the only way to go as theyre the strongest and lightest, some say cast are the way to go based on price to replace is you damage them.
I had a similar debate between forged and cast. I ended up going with cast based on price and availability. The nice thing about a forged wheel is if you bend a lip you can take the wheel apart and replace the lip. The nice thing about a cast wheel is you can usually replace the whole wheel for the cost of replacing a forged lip!

its all personal preferance.... weight difference is a few lbs usually.

Ive never heard a complaint about LC quality. Nor have I had a problem quality wise with my Miros

You can't compare apples to oranges. ICONZ and LC wheels are in two totally different leagues. ICONZ wheels are true 2pc and 3pc forged wheels produced with 6061-T6 aerospace grade aluminum, where as LC wheels are 1pc cast wheels. Of course ICONZ is going to cost more, you get what you pay for. ICONZ is superior in every category in my opinion. (Quality, finish, lip sizes, strength, weight, etc) You also have the choice of custom offsets. This is coming from someone who had cast wheels in the past, and now have forged, and will only go forged due to the bad experiences of my cast wheels severely bending in the past. Great choice in going with the forged.

I have been corrected, they are low pressure cast not gravity cast my bad! Thank you Zoeb!
Might I add, I have been on LC's now for almost a year with zero issues and I love them!

To each their own.
